Architectural Services .....
Measured Surveys
We will come to your property and carry out a measured survey which will then get drawn up on our CAD system. We can then produce a scheme with yourself to see if you like the design.
Planning Permission
Once the scheme has been agreed we will submit the plans to the local council for planning Permission. These drawings need to clearly show what is to be built, and be at a specific scale with extra information including building materials, heights, scale bar and North point.
Building Regulations
Building Regulations require a lot more detailed information on how the proposed construction will meet the latest Building Regulation requirements.
They relate to elements such as foundations, structure, fire, insulation, light, ventilation and drainage.
Permitted Developments
Changes to the planning laws in October 2008 enabled householders to carry out certain extensions and alterations works without the need for planning permission. We can discuss any ideas you might have to see if it meets the requirements.
Structural Calculations
We work closely with Structural Engineers and incorporate their design within our Building Regulation drawings to provide a comprehensive package of all the required technical information.
Party Wall Agreements
Sean is a qualified Party Wall Surveyor and can deal with any situations that may arise with your neighbours.
